Written words, constructed concepts, and heavily discussed phenomena can easily become trapped within a noisy clutter of chatter, fading into faint whispers. Certain issues, however, inevitably seep into every single capillary of our daily lives.
This condition is directly linked to the tremors of the modern era. The radical shift in the balance between the public realm and private life brings forth a story of decay distinct from conventional narratives. Drawing narrative power from art itself, the artist stands precisely at this breaking point, asking questions to explore the possibilities of a new way of seeing.
Placing the question "What slips away from us when we fail to come together?" at its center, the work re-interrogates the notion of identity. The representational objects selected within the artist’s visual vocabulary—such as shirts, collars, and neckties—symbolize the erasure of the subject in the public realm and its re-existence as an "object" in the intimate sphere. Rendering taken-for-granted truths visible, these objects are stripped of identity through repetition and transformed into standalone imagery.
